“Life in Paris” introduces the warm, nostalgic and romantic atmosphere of a walk through the autumn streets of Paris.

The painting depicts a perspective of a wide street leading towards the Eiffel Tower, lined with tall buildings and streetlights, amidst which silhouettes of people stroll and stylish carriages pass. The composition is enlivened by the intense autumnal reds and oranges of the treetops, contrasted with warm beiges, off-whites, and a slightly hazy, bright sky in the background.
