Against a light, almost white background, soft watercolor splashes in shades of gray and diluted black create a misty rock and a slender, curved tree with delicate, scattered branches. The composition is vertical, full of light tonal transitions, and blurred contours give the painting a sense of fog and the gentle, slow movement of nature.
